Happy Valentine’s Day!

This year is the first Valentine’s Day in three years that Saleh and I have managed to be on the same continent. It is pretty great.

Last night Saleh brought home a box of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers, which included red roses! Since any public celebrations of Valentine’s Day are illegal here, it’s pretty much impossible to find red roses in flower shops on Valentine’s Day (or anything else red in any other shops, for that matter).

And this morning, I made heart cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Aside from that, we’ve had a pretty lazy day, just relaxing together, joking around, napping, and poking at my belly to watch and feel the baby kick. I hope everyone else has a sweet Valentine’s Day, too!
