It’s my birthday, yo! And not just any birthday…it’s my 30th birthday. I’m telling myself this is an awesome age because I’m old enough to have some experience-based wisdom but young enough to still be…well, young. Right? Right.
In celebration, I’m doing my first-ever giveaway here on the blog. It’s pretty small, as blog giveaways go, but still.
So, yeah. That graphic pretty much sums it up. I’m giving away a little green mini-tote that says “Someone in Saudi Arabia loves me”…because if you’re a reader of my blog, I do. I really do.
If I had a reason to own this bag (i.e., if I were not in Saudi Arabia and someone who loves me was), I would fill it with Hershey Kisses and sit it on my coffee table (it has a flat bottom when it folds out). I would say the chocolates were for guests. Then I would eat them all while watching The Mindy Project.
My God, I am so 30.
You won’t get any chocolates if you win, but the little gold box will also come in the mini-tote. I won’t tell you what’s in the box; it’s a little surprise. But it’s a cute little surprise; I will say that.
To enter the giveaway, you need to “like” The Same Rainbow’s End on Facebook (if you haven’t already; if you have, of course you can still enter the giveaway), then share this photo on your Facebook timeline (the photo is available on the Facebook page for you to share). A winner will be chosen on September 1, 2013, using RandomPicker, and will be announced on the Facebook page that day, as well. It doesn’t matter where in the world you are; everyone is eligible.
So that’s it! Now I am going to go pamper myself with a face mask made of Indian Healing Clay, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Supposedly this face mask formula was used by Cleopatra in her beauty routine, and I figure if it’s good enough for Cleopatra, it’s good enough for me, right? Even though she did kill herself with a poisonous snake because she was so in love with Mark Antony or something…wait, did she even live to see her 30th birthday? You know what, if she didn’t, please don’t tell me. I don’t want to know.
